Wynton Kelly Trio & Wes Montgomery-Smokin’ at the Half Note

Cover and record have normal wear and tear for the age. Both graded VG. Verve records.

Smokin' at the Half Note is an album by Wes Montgomery and the Wynton Kelly Trio that was released in 1965. It was recorded live in June 1965 at the Half Note Club in New York City and September 22, 1965 at Van Gelder Studios in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey. The album combines guitarist Montgomery with the Miles Davis rhythm section from 1959–1963 of Wynton Kelly, Paul Chambers, and Jimmy Cobb. The album's versions of "Unit 7" and "Four on Six" have helped to establish these pieces as jazz standards.

    Selling since November 2023

Hello! My name is Karen (the good kind 😆) my friends call me Kazza. I own a small vintage shop in Downtown Stuart Florida (a small coastal town on the east coast of Florida). I opened my brick and mortar to showcase my art along with all the vintage items I loved to collect over the years.

My canvas for my art consists of furniture, stretched canvas, mannequins and various up-cyled items. Let's face it, if it's not moving, I'll paint it!!

I also love all things vintage and have been collecting items for years. I signed my lease on March 13th 2020 and three days later the world shut down!! 4.5 years later and we are still growing strong!!

I had a couple crates of vinyl records for people to dig through as I have been collecting for years. Well, no one wanted my art, but they sure did want my records and I grew from there. I had no idea that records were BACK!! Although I'm staying true to my heart and still have all my artwork and all things vintage in my shop as well as specializing in vintage vinyl records.

Thank you for having me!! Peace & Love, Karen ☮️
