This basket is likely Pakistani or African in origin and is patterned after a Navajo Wedding Basket.  This basket is NOT of Navajo or any Native American origin.  It is, however, a beautiful woven basket about 15" in diameter and about 3" high.  I have included photos of the outside of the basket here too.  Please ask questions and see the photos.
