VTG Wood Carved Owl with Levered Moving Wings Towel Coat Hat Hook Folk Art 

10" L x 6" W x 3" D - There is a paper label on the back which appears to be in the language of either Russian or Polish. I'm thinking this is from the 60s or 70s because of the Phillips head screws that were used. The wings are moved in and out by a lever in the back. This is a beautifully carved wall hanging hook that you could use in the kitchen for your apron or towel; by the front door for your hat or coat or anywhere in your home or office as an unusual decor piece.

We had an amazing and colorful weekend on Niknax! We'd like to welcome all our new community members and extend a huge thank-you to everyone who participated in the Color Carnival. This Friday is Fourth Friday Handmade Market--June 28th. Join us in supporting our artists as we host the Meet Your Maker raid train. This will be our first train to travel between Niknax and Mainly Made (http://www.district.net/niknaxmade). Our artists have planned art demonstrations and live sales on both marketplaces for the day. In case you missed Niknax Coffee Chat this Tuesday, Niknax hit a milestone of 1 MILLION in sales on Monday. To celebrate as a community, we will be a hosting a "Thanks a Million" event on July 7th. During this event, both Jocelyn and District will be waiving seller fees on all sales--Buy it Now and Live Sales.(Processing fees will still apply.)
