Vtg. William Crowder (Mt. Wolf, PA) Watercolor Print “Pansies", Mounted 8" x 6"

The product is an original watercolor painting by artist William Crowder. The painting features a landscape orientation or multi-colored pansies with a matted size of 8 x 6 inches. The artwork is on a card of 5 x 7 inches. The artist attended the Academy of Fine Arts in Philadelphia and the Philadelphia College of Art. Beginning in 1966, he ran his own advertising company and taught evening courses in art at area universities, include York College. Mr. Crowder was showing his artwork starting in the 1970s and I estimate this watercolor was made in the 1980s. The matting is a light lavender color.

The piece is in excellent condition, completely unblemished. While I believe this is a print of his original watercolor, you can see ink highlights in the center of the flowers, so it's possible/probable it was hand finished.
