The VTG Stoneware Alley Cincinnati Advertising Rooster Pottery Pitcher by Skip Meinhart is a vintage piece of folk art originating from Cincinnati in the United States. Handmade from stoneware, this rooster-themed pitcher features a glossy finish and is signed by the artist. Standing at 8 inches tall with a 7-inch beak to handle length, this unique piece adds a touch of charm to any farmhouse or country-inspired decor with its art pottery production style and hand-painted detailing.

Made to advertise “The 20 Mile House”. A restaurant just north of Cincinnati, OH.
The restaurant started as an inn & stagecoach stop in the early 1800s. it was sadly demolished in 2013, after much consternation.
Skip Meinhart owned & operated Stoneware Alley in Cincinnati from 1976 to 1996. He passed away in 2019.
This piece is signed on the bottom with his signature M & a heart. Maker’s mark is impressed under the handle.
