These candlesticks are marked PV for Peasant Village and are numbered 70176. Based on research, PV or Peasant Village was a line created for and imported by Mittledorfer Strauss of New York. Their pieces were made in Italy, France and USA. Mittledorfer used the "PV" marking from 1928 though the 1960's. These candlesticks feature a hand painted floral design with blue trim. They are 7.5" tall, have a 4.75" base and a 2.75" top. They are in good condition. There are no cracks, breaks or repairs. There are some chips from age and use. (See photos).
