This is a beautiful ceramic tree topper! It is lighted and does work. The bulb behind her head needs replaced, but it comes with 2 replacement bulbs! It does have some discoloration of the clothing pieces from aging. I would not recommend leaving this lit for too long as it does get pretty warm, and the inside part does look like it has gotten warped from the heat over time.
