Wow! Vintage art pottery piece by Judith Fernyhough Smith 1942-2017, native of Arizona. This adorable owl is either a figurine or a vase, you choose. It's pinched at the top so it does have two small holes for small flowers but the pinch also formed the owl's ears!. The piece is signed and dated 1973. It stands approximately 3 inches high and 2.5 inches wide and it's even rounded for the little owl's belly. I'm having a hard time parting with the one. no chips or cracks. Absolutely too cute.
