This is an AMAZING VINTAGE brooch shaped like a parrot or lovebird.  The brooch is made of gold tone metal and painted in a rainbow of colors.  The paint is then "sugar" coated to make the bird feel sandy.  The effect is AMAZING!  This bird brooch has a pin back with a sliding C closure.  It is 2 inches tall.

I'm a jewelry lover.  I grew up with 2 grandmothers that were jewelry collectors, so I tend to veer towards the vintage stuff from the 1960-1980s.  Give me a giant blinged out pair of danglers from 1986 or a set of bright orange lucite bangles from the early 70s!  I love it all, and I search for it....all over.  I enjoy bringing that vintage love to you.  Ask me questions, if I don't have answers, I'll research it (I find that fun)!
