Vintage Signed Pottery Pitcher Studio Art Striking Cityscape Abstract Gorgeous Multicolor Heavy Signed

This vintage studio art pottery pitcher is a unique addition to any collection. The abstract cityscape design is hand-painted in wonderful colors and glaze and incised with delicate details, making it a true work of art. There is some wear and an area around one side of handle where I am not sure if it is part of design or paint wear or scratches. The handle itself is very firm. This is a very heavy vase, which will be 5 lbs in shipping. Arrangements can be made for the cheapest shipping of your preference.

The pitcher is 10" tall and measures 7 1/2" to the handle in length and 4 1/2" to 5 3/4" at the base. The handle is very large, sturdy, and seems to be a feature of the artisan. The inside has some crazing. See photos. Therefore,  my recommendation would be to use for display or as a vase but not as a pitcher with liquids for human consumption. It is really too heavy for that use anyway, but is such an amazing piece it is worth what may be flaws. Please consider carefully as you won't really want to pay round trip for this lovely piece!

There are two small white triangles at the bottom of the pitcher aligned with each other. I do not know if they are part of the design or similar chipped paint shapes. See photos!

The artist signature is difficult to read, despite many efforts. Let me know if you recognize either or after you buy it or decide not to purchase. I am always trying to learn more!
