Vintage Rectangular Russian lacquer trinket fairy tale story box, hinged, collectible piece. Handmade and hand painted, in fine detail. It features a beautiful fairy tale design a winter scene with a church.

It is signed by the artist at the bottom of the cover/lids painting.

It Measuring approximately 3 1/4” x 1 1/4” and 1” tall.

I do not know the Providence of the box, I only know that it was made in Russian.

It does have some very light scratches and scuffs in areas of the box with the bottom being the most scratched and scuffed. The hinge works properly.
