Striking vintage Royal Haeger figural gazelle vase/planter, marked Royal Haeger U.S.A. R706 on the underside. This mid-century design features a graceful leaping gazelle positioned beside a tall rectangular vase form with sculpted grass details at the base. Finished in a warm brown glaze with green accents, the piece reflects the sculptural wildlife designs popular during the 1960s mid-century modern era. Royal Haeger pottery was produced in Dundee, Illinois, and is well known for its decorative art pottery and figural pieces.
