13 in by 19 in x 5 in expanding sliding bookends. Hand carved elephant motif. Each elephant end is on metal hinges, and folds down flat. Metal hinges have been stretched out but could be easily bent to original shape. There is a chip out of the bottom next to hinge is shown in photo but will not be visible when loaded with books. Very intricate and very cool.
