Vintage RIng Holder With Rose Design from Rhoda Robbins Shedd Estate

The Charlie B Gallery of Carson City, Nevada is offering this rose decorated ring holder. This was found in the Rhoda Robbins Shedd (1900-1995) estate. Rhoda's family were originally from Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania. She was one of the founders of the Nevada Artists Association in Carson City and had study at Syracuse University under Adelaide Robineau, where she graduated in 1922. Her ceramic artwork can be found in the Met.

Signed with just a finisher's mark. Much wear to the gold gilding with some jewelry marks found over the surfaces. I do not detect any chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs. This will be double boxed to its new home.

Stands about 2.5" by 3.75" wide.
