I have owned this wall hanging for at least 30 years. I was told when I purchased it that these were scraps of materials from old English or French estates. The backing was added later as they made smaller wall hangings from cuttings of the larger tapestries. As I recall, I paid over $200 for it from a reputable antique shop. That is really all I know about it. It is 23 1/2" wide and 28 1/2" in height. The tabs allow a rod to go through so you can hang it. Rod not provided.
