• Terracotta, ceramic

• Hand painted, glazed

• Features multi-colored bird with grapes in center & foliage design

• Debossed mark on back:

   - "PV ITALY"

• Black, hand painted number on back

• The "PV" designation often stands for "Peasant Village" and indicates pieces made in Italy, France, and even the U.S. by the Mittledofer company

• The company used the PV logo from 1928 through the 1960s
