Details

Unique vintage display featuring a preserved moth on cotton. The insect is encased under glass and the back side is hand labeled simply 'Moth'. This came from an biology professors estate, one of the specimens was labeled 1922, so it might be an antique. The sides were damaged so I have recently replaced them with a bookbinding tape. There is some foxing on the throughout.
