Vintage (1950s?) ceramic, Metlox Poppytrail Hen on Nest.
Part of the Homestead Provincial collection, and was made in California, this beauty is a must for any collection! 
This measures approximately 6 inches tall and approximately 6 and a quarter inches wide.  There are no chips or cracks, there is a glaze defect on the bottom that is shown in the last photo.
