Mid-Century Danish Modern Berte Jessen tall 10" Vase. Royal Copenhagen Aluminia high gloss faience Tall Vase.
The designer Berte Jessen was just one of the few female artists Nils Thorsson brought in to work at Royal Copenhagen. Berte came in 1958. She became very popular in the 1960-1970s.
HALLMARK: Aluminia mark Denmark 207/2967 BJ for Berte Jessen, Artists initials
DESIGNER: BERTE JESSEN
AGE: This mark was used 1903-1969. This vase is most likely from the 1960s to 1970s.
SIZE: 10" tall x 3 3/4" top diameter x 3 7/8" base diameter.
COLOR: blues, purples and pinks on a neutral slightly pale gray background.
