Vintage Kanawha Glass Taper Candle Holder, #902, Amberina w/Pedestal, GLOWS

The vintage Kanawha Glass #902 Taper Candle Holder in Amberina is a beautifully crafted piece of late 20th-century art glass. Made in Dunbar, West Virginia by the Kanawha Glass Company in 1975, this candle holder features an embossed scroll design on the flared bowl, a scroll design on the pedestal, and a glossy finish. The amberina glass contains cadmium and/or selenium, causing it to glow when using a black light (both 365 and 395), see pictures. It is 4.2 inches tall and 5.8 inches wide, weighing just over a pound.

The candle holder is in excellent condition. There are no chips, cracks or signs of wear.
