2 Handmade, hand painted wood Kokeshi dolls - Japanese folk art - nodder style (movable head). Each is wearing a shade hat. Although paint is faded characters can be seen easily on one with red and black design on body and on the other is a delicate whoite flower and branch. SEE PHOTOS.

Diameter of body = 2 5/8 inches (6.66 cm) Height = 4 1/2 inches ( 11.43 cm) to top of hat Weight = 2.5 ounces each Condition = Please look at the photos. There is some wear, usual for the age and includes small dings, darkening of wood, fading/wear to paint. Era = Showa 1926-1989
