Beautiful vintage Japanese lacquer musical jewelry box (mini tansu chest) featuring hand-painted gold landscape scenes. Right side door has a glass window displaying traditional geisha figure inside lined with mirrors. When door opens geisha turns and box plays music. Features: • Black lacquer with gold & red painted scenery • Multiple working drawers with brass pulls • Glass door with geisha diorama inside . Music works well and geisha turns with ease • Tassel pull • Approx. size: 10”x8.5”x 4” • Pre-owned vintage condition – some light scuffs consistent with age. Geisha figure clean and intact.
