Vintage Japanese Black Glazed Redware Pottery Teapot With Hand Painted Rooster and Florals

Vintage Japanese Redware pottery teapot with coiled metal handle. It is black glazed with hand painted roaster and florals on a 3 footed base.

It measures approximately 7" from outside of the handle to tip of the spout, 5 3/4" body, 6 1/2" to top of the finial, 8 3/4” to top of the handle.

It has a capacity of approximately 36 ounces.

It is in very good vintage condition with no visible chips, cracks or scratches. It does, however, have a slight graze crack on the lid (See last photo).
