This is a terrific Vintage Inuit Soap Stone Carving, Signed Luke, William Luke. This stone sculpture of a kneeling man was done with terrific, intricate details. From the drape of his parka, his winter hat and the detail on his boot, the attention to detail is remarkable. Piece is signed “Luke” on the bottom.

William Luke was an Eskimo carver that worked for Northwest Arts and Crafts in the 60’s & 70’s.
