Fantastic hand carved and painted folk art trinket box from Indonesia. The box is blue with gold stars and moons decorating the outside a tiger sits on the hinged lid of the box. This box has rough folk paint some areas may be missing some gold. The box has some nicks and dings that appear to have been there before painting. On the lid of the box there are a few lighter spots on the paint. This box was first purchased by myself in the 1990’s. The measurements of the box are L 5 1/2” D 2 1/4” H approximately 4” with tiger 2 1/4” just the box itself.
