vintage Iittala Ultima Thule Tealight Candleholder. This is a gorgeous candle holder that has such a unique texture throughout. It has a scalloped top with almost an icicle effect on the sides and a bubble bottom. This unique textured glass allows the candle light to refract and make a beautiful glow! 
"Ultima Thule is used to reference the furthest possible place in the world. Tapio Wirkkala’s 1968 Ultima Thule glassware similarly references the icy cold reaches of Scandinaiva and the distinct expressive power of Finnish glass. This beautiful texture is achieved through a time-laboring technique, in which the molten glass burns the surface of the wooden molds."

We had an amazing and colorful weekend on Niknax! We'd like to welcome all our new community members and extend a huge thank-you to everyone who participated in the Color Carnival. Our weekly feature this week is "Summertime Picnic." Since it's a shorter week with Fourth Friday, our seller spotlight is staying on greenscampie until next week. This Friday is Fourth Friday Handmade Market--June 28th. Join us in supporting our artists as we host the Meet Your Maker raid train. This will be our first train to travel between Niknax and Mainly Made (http://www.district.net/niknaxmade). Our artists have planned art demonstrations and live sales on both marketplaces for the day. In case you missed Niknax Coffee Chat this Tuesday, Niknax hit a milestone of 1 MILLION in sales on Monday. To celebrate as a community, we will be a hosting a "Thanks a Million" event on July 7th. During this event, both Jocelyn and District will be waiving seller fees on all sales--Buy it Now and Live Sales.(Processing fees will still apply.) We'd like to encourage sellers to pass savings on to buyers! Thank-you for being an amazing community. We appreciate all your support as we continue to grow. Have a great week!

Hello, my name is Meagan and I am from Oregon and love everything about the outdoors and array of activities that the PNW has to offer. My middle school sweetheart husband and I are in our 2nd year of living full time in our fifth wheel trailer with our Chiweenie dog and working to try and keep our mobile dream alive. I enjoy finding unique and handmade items and I'm a big fan of vintage colored glass. Photography is another hobby passion of mine and I really enjoy integrating that with posting items - I like finding unique locations & backdrops to stage the item and really show off its features!
