Details
This fun and cheery 1950s Gay Fad Studios bowl will bring a smile every time it is placed on the table. The opaque frosted glass has been hand-painted with bold and bright colors depicting grapes, pears, raspberries, and peaches - making it a perfect serving bowl for fresh fruit, a fruit or green salad, or even for a fruit punch. It would be terrific as a luncheon serving piece at a picnic or by the pool. Or what fun to give it as a gift filled with fruit for a housewarming, or get-well-soon, or really any event!
This is a truly unique collectible piece of mid-century serving ware.
Excellent vintage condition with no observed chips, cracks, stains, or other discoloration. There are a couple minor scuffs and scratches to the frosted exterior and from utensil use on the interior. The hand-painted design on the exterior of the bowl is mint.
