Markings on back: Middle of card: a crest with HH inside Botton left: E-1 Bottom middle: Hawthorne-Sommerfield, Litho in U.S.A. Bottom right corner: 25X4 I found this card among some of my parents' cards when cleaning out the house (non-smoking, no pets). I'm finding a lot of Hawthorne Sommerfield cards online but haven't found one marked with the same kind of markings. This makes me assume it is older than many of those listed but I'm not an expert so I could be wrong.
The card is a four fold card. There is no writing on the card anywhere. It could have been sent with a letter inside.
There is NO envelope.
The light colored parts of the card are very discolored due to age and have a bit of smudging.
The actual picture of the cute deer with wreath collars is very nice, clean and bright, surrounded by a "frame" that is gold colored embossing. It would make a nice scrapbooking picture or framed display.

I'm a retired teacher trying to clean out my house of all the stuff accumulated from four generations of my family. My goal in life is to not leave a mess for my family to clean up after I die! I've sold on other platforms for a few years now, but after watching Joselyn's videos I decided to try NikNax. I love to see thrifting videos since I've always shopped at thrift stores, passing on that love to my daughter. I also love to see what others have to sell and have been known to buy some things that I just can't pass up, of course adding to more "stuff."
All of my items come from a smoke-free home. We have one cat that I try to keep away from things that I'm selling, especially clothing or other items that could collect cat dander.
