This is for a fantastically fun handmade studio art pottery figurine of a robot. Probably a student piece. It has a shiny black glaze other than the bottom of its two legs which are not glazed. This wonderful robot appears to have its kiln stilt attached onto its backside. Not sure if it was done on purpose or if it happened by chance during the kiln process? Due to this he does stand but is NOT steady on his feet and may need to be propped up by something in order to not fall over if bumped. There is pockets of space in spots between the robot itself & the kiln stilt where some type of hanging wire or something of the sort could be used to possibly hang if so choose although, keep in mind he is a little hefty in weight weighing 2 pounds 5 ounces on its own. Will not come with any type of hanging hardware.
It measures approximately 9 inches tall by 5 3/8 inches width at widest point.
It is in nice vintage. Please see all pictures for more details. He has the best little smile & would make a great paper weight, bookend (as long as it is propped against your books for stability), add to a robot collection, or great conversation piece!!!
