his is a vintage, hand-painted Kashmiri papier-mâché egg. It is made from layers of recycled paper and adhesive, which are then shaped and smoothed with layers of gesso.

The intricate floral motifs are meticulously hand-painted by artists using fine brushes and mineral pigments.

The object is finished with a lacquer coating for a glossy, durable finish.

Approximately 2” x 3” with some surface wear to the bottom of egg.
