This is a vintage hand painted ceramic tile with metal base hot pad.  The pad measures  6.75 " square.  The label on the back is cleaning instuctions stating Warning Please clean the piece with damp cloth.   There are bumps on the back that serve as legs so the  piece does not sit flat on your table.  No chips or scratches that I can see.
