The woman is about 1.75" wide x about 2" deep x about 3.75" high.  The man is about 5.5" high x about 1.75" wide x about 1.5" deep.  They are ceramic. 

On the bottom of both, the artist signed their initials with the 1957 date.  

Please see the photos for its characteristics.   There are no chips or cracks.  There is crazing throughout.
