Vintage Glass Sail Boat Ashtray with Removable Metal Sail USA Made Boat Shaped Candy Dish

This glass sailboat measures 6" long and with the sail measures over 6 1/4" tall. It is in excellent condition, no cracks or chips. The sail base has a wood colored finish to it. There is some wear to the brown seat attached to the sail that snaps on to the glass ash tray. The sail is metal and is quite shiny. While it is meant to be used as an ashtray as evidenced by the three cigarette rests, take the sale off and use it as a candy dish.

Embossed on the end of the sailboat are the words Made in USA with a patent number, D124322. Doesn't look like it has ever been used.
