Look at this handsome fella! Vintage, Formia Murano handblown Glass bird figurine. The eye catching red and gold give way to the beautiful silver inlay in the base, and then back to the gold inlay on his feet and head. This does have a beautifully polished bottom.
It stands 10 inches tall, is 5 and a half inches wide from the tip of his tail to the front of his breast, and is 3 and a half inches across the very bottom. There are no chips or cracks, there is one spot under his tail that is rough, but it is from manufacturing where they didn’t get that area completely smooth during the finishing touches.
