It features a distinctive "hobnail" pattern of raised dots around the base and a "swung" or "stretch" neck that flares out at the top. 
Fenton Art Glass Company produced many items in the hobnail pattern, which became their most popular line after 1952. 
The vase was hand-blown in the mid-20th century in West Virginia, United State
