Vintage Concreta Molinard Fleurettes, Bakelite, Solid Perfume Pot Made in France

This is a rare vintage little pot of solid perfume/'Concreta', containing Fleurettes, which was distilled from the waxy essence of flowers grown in Grasse, France, and was manufactured by the famous Molinard Perfumerie. The hand-painted black Bakelite pot is a one-of-a-kind, as no two are exactly alike. It measures approx. 7/8" in dia. (Dime shown in one pic for size comparison and the little glass bowl was used to prop the container in to take a pic of the bottom. Neither are included in the sale. lol)

It is in great condition, with no wear to the hand-painted floral design. It has the original label on the bottom and still has product left inside. The black one is hard to find.

The fragrance is a lush & strong scent. Molinard's Concretas contain no alcohol, so the fragrance does not evaporate or lose it's potency.

Molinard's Concretas were the world's first solid perfume compacts, with production starting in the early 1920s and continuing into the early 1950s. Keep for display in your perfume collection of use it yourself! Just a dab on the wrist, temples & behind the ears is all that is needed for a lovely, lasting scent.
