This is a BEAUTIFUL VINTAGE brass vase made in Japan in the 1950s-1960s. It's molded out of brass and then covered with a black enamel. The enamel is then etched to reveal the brass underneath, making a beautiful scene of a Japanese house, pagoda and mountains. It really is amazing to see. The vase is 8.75 inches tall and has a diameter of about 3 inches at its widest point. The vase is in EXCELLENT CONDITION! There are no scratches or dents to the metal. There is one small spot on the back where the enamel has worn off (about 1 mm) - see the last photo.

I'm a jewelry lover. I grew up with 2 grandmothers that were jewelry collectors, so I tend to veer towards the vintage stuff from the 1960-1980s. Give me a giant blinged out pair of danglers from 1986 or a set of bright orange lucite bangles from the early 70s! I love it all, and I search for it....all over. I enjoy bringing that vintage love to you. Ask me questions, if I don't have answers, I'll research it (I find that fun)!
