This beautiful vintage Blenko vase compote is a stunning shade of blue and is hand-blown from glass. This piece is 8 inches in height and 8 inches in length, with a unique urn shape. The vase is a vintage original, produced by Blenko between 1937-1957, and is marked with model number 428.
This piece was acquired from the estate of a Blenko and mid century glass collector in the New Orleans area. The piece may be a one off or an end of day piece because the flute doesn’t flare quite as much as most 428 pieces.
