Vintage Amber Glass Alphabet Child's Plate – Clays Crystal Works, Intaglio Portrait

Vintage amber pressed glass children’s alphabet plate by Clays Crystal Works. The front of the plate is flat and smooth, while the reverse side features raised lettering around the rim and an intaglio (carved-in) portrait of a child at the center. This method gives the plate a unique look when viewed from the front — the portrait appears sunken into the glass.
