Renowned French copper metal artist Albert Gilles settled in Quebec City in 1937. This beautiful cloisonne enamel copper charger plate features a bird and floral motif. Signed “A. Gilles.” Measures 10.75 inches across. Quite a bit of the enamel has chipped, but still a beautiful piece of art. I think adds to its uniqueness. See photos.
