The vintage Fenton Milk Glass Hobnail Bell features hand-painted Holly and Berries on the handle and around the base of the bell. A gold band around the base of the handle and the skirt finish the beautiful look. I have researched the bell and believe it is from the late 1960s, just as Fenton hired their own artists to do the hand-painting yet before they began to have them sign their names and before the Fenton logo was added to their pieces. Made in Williamstown, West Virginia, this original bell features a white milk glass hobnail design, first offered in the 1950s. Standing at 5.8 inches tall and 3.4 inches wide, this mid-century modern style bell is a unique addition to any collection, showcasing the intricate craftsmanship and elegant design of the era. This is a perfect piece for wintertime.
The bell is in very good used condition. There are no chips or cracks. The hand-painted design is in excellent condition with hardly any wear. The wear is found on the gold trim, particularly at the base of the handle.
