Vintage probably 40's dachshund dog figurine - hand painted and glossy glazed, marked England. 
Both Beswick and Royal Doulton made the same figurine but I am not sure if this is any of the two. There is a model number that I cannot read.
Measurements: 5" tall, 8" long. 
Condition: very good, no chips or cracks. Crazing in the glaze due to age.
