This vintage Sarah Coventry brooch and clip on earring set is called "Bittersweet" and is from 1962. It features a brushed gold tone leaf design with coral colored teardrop shaped beads. The brooch measures approximately 3.5 inches long and the earrings are approximately 1.25 inches long.

The brooch has the Sarah Cov signature on the back. Only one of the earrings has the Sarah Cov signature on the back and the other does not as shown in the pictures. I can only assume that one of the clips was replaced.

    My Mother was obsessed with jewelry. A hoarder of anything from cheap Mardi Gras beads to some very fine pieces. She was a Representative for both Sarah Coventry and Judy Lee in the late 1950’s to the mid 1960’s. I inherited about 10+ jewelry boxes full of her and my Grandmother’s collections. Over the next few months I will be going through everything to identify and list most of the pieces.

    I also sew / craft as a hobby to relieve anxiety. I'm not a professional and mostly self taught, but I take pride in the quality of my items and would not offer anything for sale that I would not be proud to use myself or display in my home. While some fabrics I use are new, I do love repurposing fabric from clothes, drapes, tablecloths, or any other interesting fabric, into something new and beautiful.
