Vintage Universal Potteries Inc. "Upico" yellowware or stoneware mixing bowl with blue and white bands. The bowl is characterized by its creamy beige or yellow glaze and the horizontal blue band accented by white lines. It is likely from a set of nesting bowls produced by Universal Potteries in the 1940s. The surface shows typical signs of age for vintage pottery, such as crazing and minor discoloration and chipping Universal Potteries Inc. was a ceramic kitchenware manufacturer operating from 1934 until 1955.
