This beautiful tea cup and saucer is unusual in its dusty pink ground color. It features a hand painted design of vividly-colored flowers with raised dots at their centers. The saucer has a elegantly scalloped edge and the cup sits on a small pedestal. Both are highlighted in gold trim. Tuscan Fine China was founded 1878 in Staffordshire, England by R. H. Plant and it remained in the Plant family until 1967 when they were taken over by Wedgwood (all production ceased in 2006). The name "Royal" was added after the Wedgwood acquisition, the absence of which dates this tea set pre 1967. Measurements: Saucer - 5 1/2" in diameter, Cup - 3 1/4" in diameter at the rim, 3" tall Like New Condition: no chips, cracks, crazing, or signs of use
