Ideal vintage c. 1960s travel jewelry box is a large size, has great coverings, and lots of useful interior compartments. It is covered in mottled cream/beige faux leather. Hinged back snaps opempn and shut securely. Lined in light blue flocked velvet with divisions for earrings, a row for studs, a compartment for bracelets, a long compartment for necklace chains and 2 long ring slots. It has a mirror covering on the underside of the top. Measures 9 1/2" long, 5" wide, and 2" high.

Velvet is in beautiful, clean condition. Vinyl has some vintage wear on top surface, some scratches but displays beautifully .

Looks a great deal like a Mele jewelry case: I really think it was made by Mele, although I cannot find the Mele label in it.
