Details
This is a northwestern north American Inuit representative depicted with natural fur a wooden hand carved face and woven straw shield. Eskimo is not a term used with respect for the indigenous people so I have refrained from using it here. His boots are trimmed with real fur (sorry I am not big on fur so I can't identify the animal) and leather suede hand made boots. He comes with a stand which has a part inside thatbis sewn to the figure, although I think it could be cut with scissors if you wanted to remove this stand. The inside is marked with a B, which may or may not be the artist's mark.off the stand he is about 10" tall and about 6 1/2" at the widest point. On the stand, he is 12" high.

Selling since November 2023
Hi. I love hunting for treasures and learning even more history. I am also determined to let younger viewers know that some of us baby boomers are still supportive and enjoy the younger generation of seekers and preservers. I am a retired professor, writer and single Mom. I have been selling for vintage, funny anthropomorphic figures, folk art, pottery, vintage jewelry, and whatever else catches my interest.
