Vintage Kokeshi doll, a traditional handmade Japanese wooden doll. These dolls typically lack arms or legs and feature a simple trunk and an enlarged head with minimal painted facial features.

They originated in the Tōhoku region of northern Japan and emerged as a folk craft in hot spring mountain villages.
