Is it Art, is it pottery? I think it's both. This beautiful pitcher or vase has me stumped! I cannot identify the signature in my many hours or searching. It's a beautiful ink drawn (I believe) watercolor depicting a women thinking, or day dreaming. Perhaps she is having a moment, maybe her eye itches (mine does every time my hands are not suitable for scratching). Whatever she is doing, this piece is wonderful and I am so sad that I cannot identify it. I believe it's redware and possible has some age due to the paint crazing. It looks like a pitcher, I would probably use it as a vase. She stands approximately 8 1/4 inches high and the opening is approximately 3 1/2 inches across, the entire piece is approximately 5 inches wide including the handle. There is crazing, no chips or cracks. Please inspect the photo's, I think she is wonderful and probably "something" but I've exhausted all my resources.
