Studio Pottery Figurine, Mother & Daughter Reading on the Beach, Sand, Signed

This beautiful studio pottery figurine depicts a mother and daughter in matching long dresses & sunhats reading on the beach. The figurine is handmade with care and features bubble glazing, marbling, and individually-crafted strands on hair, making it a unique addition to any room. Their long, strawberry blonde hair is intricate and beautifully done, capturing the curls and flow of their hair being blown by the wind. Their hats have textured centers where the hat rests on each head, an exquisite execution of just one detail! Both pottery books have blue lines of text and the long gowns have a lovely sense of movement. Measuring 3.25 inches in length, 4 inches in height, and 3.5 inches in width, this small sculpture is perfect for any occasion. The underside is signed "M & F", where the center figure is a musical treble clef (see photo). It is dated '07.
